enjoy a typical tropical temperature range of 23°C to 33°C (73°F to 91°F) at all times of the day, every day of the year. Humidity is usually high but the even temperature and fresh sea breezes mean conditions are idealic. Kiribati is more a sprinkling of far-flung coral atolls than dry land, more deep blue ocean than sandy beach, more coconut trees than people. Tarawa is not a single island but a group of islets surrounded by a coral atoll. From the port town of Betio to the Bonriki International Airport is approximately 25 minutes by car, 45 min by bus. The international airport is at Bonriki in the southeastern corner, which also hosts the new hospital and fish ponds. North Tarawa is about an hour and a half by motor powered boat, 2 – 3 hours by 4W drive at low tide. AVAILABLE ACTIVITIES (*Bookings required)

Comprises a private two bedroom furnished accommodation, one room with double bed and one with two single beds all linen and mosquito nets , with shower and fully equiped kitchen facilities in a seaside house, including an outdoor area with a 'local style house' (Keakea) which is good for lazing around in during the day or as a sleepout on balmy nights. Facilities provided include linen, crockery and mosquito nets and fully equipped kitchen, open plan living area and laundry facilities. Ideally situated the cottage is approx 20 Minutes from the Bonriki International Airport and has a SW aspect with the South Pacific Ocean right at the front door.
